Spare room arts are running three individual workshops over the Christmas period for children and adults focusing on a sustainable Christmas.

Spare room arts specialise in creative workshops, arts areas and interactive installations for events, music festivals, schools and community minded projects. they deliver fabulous arts workshops and activities to everyone everywhere.

These particular workshops originally ran for Ikea as part of their eco Christmas festival and we’re really excited to be able to bring Spare room in to share their workshops with us.

#1 Childrens Christmas workshop. (Ages 6+)
Sunday December 1st 11:am – 12:30
Over the course of the workshop you will make your own Christmas crackers, Christmas cards and tree decorations using environmentally friendly materials demonstrating how you can easily make beautiful creations from things you can find at home without hurting the environment.
All materials provided and full instruction given throughout .
Complimentary cookies, mince pies, fruit and squash.

#2 Adults Christmas workshop (Ages 16+)
Thursday 5th December 7:30 – 8:30
Make your own Christmas prints in our screen printing workshop , print onto wrapping paper , tote bags , Christmas cards whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine and mince pie . No better way to spend a cold winter evening . All materials provided and full instruction given throughout .
Complimentary mincepies, Mulled wine / mulled cider (non alcoholic for any under 18s!)
