Speakeasy is back with a bang! After opening up the featured performer slot to you last month, we are very excited to be welcoming the extremely talented Holly Daffurn as our featured performer for November!
Holly’s work rages from the political to the confessional, flitting from witty anecdotes to stark cutting observations. Featuring a combination of rhythmical and fast-paced poems mixed in with carefully crafted passages that shrug off any expectation of rhyme, the uniting feature in all of her work is a distinct and brazen honesty.
A celebrated author, columnist and poet, Holly is also a champion of mental health awareness and a seasoned poetry slam performer! All in all you’ll be in for a treat if you come along and join us!
Pizza and drinks are available to buy from the cafe and we will of course have our famous raffle.
